Sell My Rolex Watch – What I Learned
If you’re one of the many out there who are considering selling your Rolex to get some extra cash, you may be curious as to the best way to do so. While everyone’s experience will be slightly different, I learned a number of things when I set out to sell my Rolex watch that can probably help you learn a bit about what to expect. It’s much easier than you might think, but keeping a few things in mind can not only increase the price you get but also make the process much easier. Some things may very well surprise you.
The first thing I did to sell Rolex watch was visit the local pawnbroker. Their offer surprised me – it was far less than half of what I’d paid for the watch just a year before. I didn’t bother visiting another one, and instead returned home to see if I was missing something that may explain why the price was so low. Simply put, I figured out that local buyers don’t have the resources to invest too heavily into luxury watches. They’ll buy them, of course, but they’re trying to make a profit as well and paying a large amount isn’t really in their best interests.
So I decided to sell my Rolex watch online. It took only a few minutes to figure out I was making the right call. I reviewed a few different sites and each one worked basically the same – I would request a package, it would be sent to me, I would pack my watch in it and return it. A few days later I would get a cheque in the mail or an offer over the phone or by email. And the best part was that they even bought broken or damaged watches, so I’d be able to throw in a couple of old watches I thought were practically worthless.
I was concerned about the price, naturally, but was surprised when the offer came back from the company I elected to sell my Rolex Watch to. They offered way more than the local pawnbroker – so much more that I accepted the deal on the spot. Basically, I learned that selling online is the way to go. I still miss that Rolex from time to time, but the cash I got for it paid the deposit on my new apartment with a little left over, and I don’t regret making the decision in the least.
